Some friends invited us over last night to watch a documentary on Granny D -- Granny D. Goes to Washington. At age 94, Granny D decides to enter New Hamshire's Senate race. On a shoe-string budget, she wins the hearts and minds of the populace, and wins 35% of the vote. Oh yeah, she'd already walked across the U.S.Everyone in the room last night (representing a full spectrum of political thought) seemed to really enjoy it. Her gumption shows just what is possible when one person fully lives what they believe.
