MORAL COMPASS: Rumsfeld

Rumsfeld: War critics have ‘moral ... confusion’ (MSNBC.com, 29 August '06)
"In unusually explicit terms, Rumsfeld portrayed the administration’s critics as suffering from 'moral or intellectual confusion' about what threatens the nation’s security and accused them of lacking the courage to fight back."

Jeff: Suffering from moral confusion? Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr are two fellas I wouldn't want to argue against in a "moral" contest. It's strange to me that we celebrate King with a holiday, but our administration's policies are completely at odds with King's ideals and ways. I believe King and Gandhi were moral giants, so maybe Rumsfeld is the one with moral confusion. (You know, not to mention Jesus!)
