Michael Berg, who's son was beheaded by al-Zarqawi is running for office in the Delaware House race.
This was his reaction to the news:
Berg: No good in al-Zarqawi's death
He believes "that al-Zarqawi's killing will only perpetuate the cycle of violence in the Middle East."
"His death will incite a new wave of revenge. George Bush and al-Zarqawi are two men who believe in revenge."
This blog is about justice. It's also inherently about peace.
Was it just to kill al-Zarqawi?
Was Bush unjust in ordering him (allowing him?) to be killed?
What just methods exist for dealing with terrorists?
Will this bring more peace to the Middle East?
What method of dealing with al-Zarqawi would have had the best chance for bringing peace?
