When you read about the kind of "torture" that Rumsfeld allowed in 2002 (see previous post), you understand a little of why prisoners would kill themselves. Those men have been held for roughly five years now. How long would I hold out in those conditions?

I love this term "asymmetric warfare." They must have really worked hard on coming up with that one.
